Wombmate is my answer: a small collective where I personally know every surrogate and every family, where pricing is clear from day one, and where nobody is ever a number.
My story
How Wombmate began
I'm a two-time surrogate, and my story started with a single Facebook post. A family had written that they were "looking for a womb to rent." I read it, and something in my heart said yes. That's where the name Wombmate comes from.
We matched, and I carried their baby. Watching them hold their child for the first time is a moment I will never forget. A year later, I felt that pull again. I wanted to give that gift one more time.
I went independent with a second family, and together we lived through three miscarriages. Three times we hoped, and three times we grieved. It broke my heart, and I carried that loss right alongside them. There were days I didn't know how to keep going.
But that pain showed me what was missing: someone who truly cares. Someone to walk beside surrogates and intended parents through the joy and the heartbreak, and to make this path affordable for the families who dream of it. That's why I started Wombmate.
Both of my journeys changed my life, the joy and the loss. I loved every part of them. And I love, even more, helping other families find each other.
